Can I book online?
Yes: visit www.gillespie-leisure.co.uk and click ‘book online’. You’ll also find the book now button at the top of this page.
How much is the deposit, and when do I pay the remaining balance?
The non-refundable deposit to secure your hired accommodation is £100 per week. The full balance of your booking is due 28 days before arrival. If you are arriving within the 28 days, you pay in full when you book.
How can I pay for my holiday?
You can pay online, by debit card over the phone and by cash over the counter.
We accept debit or credit card payments.
Will I receive a confirmation?
Yes, we’ll email you a confirmation of your booking. Please have a read over it and ensure all the information is correct.
Can I change my booking?
Yes, we’ll endeavour to amend your booking as best we can if we have accommodation available. Please ring us on 01557 870 267 if you wish to make a change to your current booking.
I need to cancel, what do I do?
Please ring us and confirm your cancellation by email or letter. Please remember you will lose your deposit if you cancel. We urge you to take out holiday insurance just in case.
What is your cancellation policy?
We do not offer cancellation insurance and strongly advise you to take out the appropriate insurance. All cancellations must be confirmed by email or letter.
If you cancel before your holiday starts you will receive a refund according to the following scale:
Cancellation 0 – 14 days before arrival – no refund
Cancellation 15 – 28 days before arrival – 25% refund
Cancellation 29 – 56 days before arrival – 50% refund
Cancellation 57 days or more before arrival – full refund
The £100 deposit is non-refundable.
What does the holiday home I’ve hired for the week include?
Power, hot water, heating, television, cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, utensils, pots, pans, pillows, duvets and accommodation for four to six people and space for one vehicle. It also has a veranda and outdoor furniture.
What do I need to bring?
Bed linen, towels, tea towels, food and fun.
When can I check in?
Check in time is from 4.30pm. If you’re going to be late please let us know to allow us to make alternative arrangements for access. If you arrive earlier and the accommodation is ready, you are of course very welcome to move in. If the accommodation is not available you are welcome to use our facilities while you wait.
When is check out?
Check out is by 9am on the day of your departure.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, we love dogs and welcome them on-site. Please inform us when booking that you wish to bring your dog and we will ensure that you receive pet friendly accommodation.
Please keep your dog(s) on leads whilst in the park for the safety of those who may be afraid of them. Please bring Fido’s bed/cage as dogs are not allowed on our seating and bedding. Do not leave her/him alone in the caravan/lodge. Animals other than dogs can only be accepted with specific permission from the park.
How many dogs can I bring?
Two dogs are the maximum you can bring to our hire accommodation.
Can I smoke in the holiday home?
No, all our holiday accommodation and public buildings are non-smoking.
Are the facilities and activities available all year round?
No the toilet block and laundry is available from 1st April (or at Easter if it’s earlier) till 31st October. Weather dependant, the heated outdoor pool (for customers staying on the park) is open from mid May till mid September.
Is there an iron and ironing board in the accommodation?
No, you’ll find them in the launderette at the toilet block.
Can we hire cots and highchairs?
Yes, please ask us at time of booking.
Will there be heating in our holiday accommodation?
Yes, heating is included in the hire charge.
Is there parking next to my holiday accommodation?
Yes.
Can I request a certain holiday home?
Of course and as long as it’s available, it’s yours… Otherwise we’ll do our best to find you something equivalent.
Can I be next to my friends and family?
Let us know when you book and we’ll do our best to place you as near to each other as possible.
How many people can stay in the holiday home?
Our two bedroom holiday homes cater up to four and the three-bedroom holiday homes for up to six people.
